Alison Sigmon was one of the original product and content design members for Tokii. With 20 combined years of experience in clinical counseling, leadership, learning design, training, assessment creation, survey writing, analysis, & project management, she has been involved in several traditional & Internet-based start-up companies as a COO, VP, & principal. She has a Masters of Education degree in clinical counseling & a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. As a Licensed Professional Counselor for a number of years, she worked with individuals, couples, & families on relationship issues, depression, anxiety, & addiction and has published extensively about these subjects in several mediums and publications.
Growing up in a family of seven afforded Amie Martin a lot of real life, different kinds of experiences – both wonderful and challenging – that help Amie meaningfully and quickly connect with lots of different types of people through counseling as well as writing. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, a minor in Philosophy & Religion, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work cultivated Amie’s desire to help people, gave her plenty to write about, and appeased her inner academic geek – one that never goes away, she’ll tell you.
Charlie Simpson is a Licensed Associate in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Licensed Associate Counselor. He has helped families for over 12 years by mentoring youth, providing therapy for behavior issues, and empowering individuals and couples by helping them master the skills necessary to maintain healthy relationships.
